Four Handled Urn

Description

These urns have a classical Greek shape to them which has been seen for thousands of years throughout the mediterranean. Originally, they were used to store food and liquids, but more recently we like to have them adorning our gardens.

Thy’re big enough to use as a planter, but equally, they look great as an ornamental feature in the garden or sitting on a patio. Use them singly as a centrepeice, or in pairs either side of a door, or at the end of a path.

The clay is very strong and the glaze is redolant of something that has been left on the bottom of the sea and has become encrsuted with barnacles and other sea life.
